This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure solutions while ensuring the stability, security, and performance of hybrid cloud environments.\nWhat will you do?\nCloud Infrastructure Design & Architecture\nDesign, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments\nDevelop cloud architecture blueprints and technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry best practices\nLead cloud migration initiatives and transformation projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing on-premises infrastructure\nArchitect and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools\nCloud Operations & Administration\nMonitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Windows and Linux servers across cloud and hybrid environments\nConfigure and maintain cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, serverless functions (Lambda), networking, storage, and security components\nAdminister and optimise Application Load Balancers (ALB), Network Load Balancers (NLB), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Content Delivery Networks (CDN), and NetScaler\nManage DNS services including Windows DNS and AWS Route 53\nOversee Linux and Windows patch management, system upgrades, and lifecycle management\nAutomation & DevOps\nDesign and implement Ansible Automation workflows for infrastructure and application deployment\nProvide DevOps support for infrastructure and application deployment pipelines\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts to streamline routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency\nImplement and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management\nVirtualisation & Middleware\nConfigure, troubleshoot, and optimise virtualisation platforms including VMware vSphere and Hyper-V\nAdminister middleware production environments ensuring high availability and performance\nInstall, configure, and manage Windows and UNIX servers and services across data centres and cloud platforms\nSecurity & Compliance\nImplement and manage security tools including encryption solutions, secure key management, and identity access management (IAM)\nEnsure compliance with cybersecurity best practices, system hardening standards, and regulatory requirements\nAdminister ManageEngine and other enterprise management tools\nConduct regular security assessments and implement remediation strategies\nCollaboration & Support\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Network, Security, Application, and DevOps teams to implement enterprise-wide solutions\nProvide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for cloud infrastructure, Unix/Linux, and Windows-related issues\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, network connectivity, and application deployments\nParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed\nDocumentation & Continuous Improvement\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to cloud architecture, system configurations, processes, and procedures\nParticipate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and technology assessments to support organisational growth\nEvaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements based on best practices and changing requirements\nMentor junior team members and share technical knowledge across the team\n More than 12 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure administration, or similar roles\nAt least 3 years of focused experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions and operations (preferably on AWS cloud)\nDemonstrated experience in architecting and implementing hybrid cloud environments\nStrong proficiency in AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, IAM, CloudFormation\nExperience with AWS Cloud Platform is advantageous\nProficiency in Linux Server operating systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)\nStrong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022)\nUnderstanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP\nExpertise in cloud networking, storage solutions, and security configurations\nExperience administering Application Load Balancers (ALB), Network Load Balancers (NLB), and NetScaler\nUnderstanding of WAF, CDN, VPN, and hybrid networking architectures\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect -
