NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group.\n As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be working as a consultant responsible in providing network project implementation, post-sales consultancy and network maintenance support, particularly in the area of network architectures (LAN, Data Centre and WAN). You will also be involved in hands-on operations in network maintenance.\nProgressively, you will own technical design in implementation of technical solutions. Ensuring quality technical solutions and drive towards the highest levels of customer satisfaction and improvement in professional standards.\nResponsibilities:\nManage/implement network infrastructure projects covering in area of Telecom Networks (LAN & WAN) and security system.\nManage/implement, by project basis, working with project team members in implementing and delivering projects till commissioning.\nAssist Project Manager in various aspects of project implementation, including network design, site preparation, risks identification and mitigation\nTasks include performing network/systems configurations, troubleshooting errors/problems, monitoring and/or testing systems performance, and contribute to the design of technical solutions for customer environments adherence to scope of work.\nProactively provides solutions to prevent problems from occurring and/or to provide resolution for technical issues.\nGather business and/or application requirements on the infrastructure to plan, design, install, test & implement systems in accordance with the specifications & service level.\nAligned or enhanced ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily operations e.g. Change, Incident, problem, release management & CMDB.\nRespond promptly to incident, root cause analysis & provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.\nImplement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.\nAssist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations.\nDrive adoption of model-driven telemetry, SDN controllers, and intent-based networking.\nContribute to the design and implementation of AI-assisted or autonomous network use cases, such as:Proactive fault detection and root-cause analysis\nPredictive capacity management\nAutomated remediation and closed-loop operations\n\nDiploma/ Degree in IT-related discipline\n3 - 5 years of hands-on experience\nExperienced in implementing and administrating network devices such as Switches, Routers, Firewalls.\nExperienced in implementing and administrating advanced network routing protocols such as BGP, MP-BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, network Security.\nExperienced and knowledgeable in implementing MPLS L3VPN, L2VPN, EVPN, Segment routing etc.\nExperience implementing advanced switching technology including DC Fabric, Fabric path, MC-Lag, VPC, VXLAN etc.\nExperienced in Administration and troubleshooting in network environment.\nExposure with carrier-grade network equipment (Cisco ASR9K, NCS5500, N9K, Huawei NE5000E, NE40E, Juniper MX2000, MX960 etc) will be added advantage.\nCertifications such as CCIE/HCIE/CCNP and other relevant IT industry certificates will be preferred.\nPossess good analytical and trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification\nPossess good working knowledge in multiple vendor equipment like Cisco, Juniper, Huawei router.\nPractical experience with network automation and scripting (Python preferred).\nFamiliarity with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.\nExperience working with SDN controllers, telemetry, and streaming data is an advantage.\nKnowledge of AI/ML concepts applied to networking or autonomous networking frameworks is highly desirable.\nPersonal Attributes\nHighly motivated, and have the aptitude and attitude to continuously upgrade and refresh the knowledge in networking technologies.\nGood inter-personal, organizational, problem solving and teamwork skills.\n We are driven by our AEIOU beliefs-Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity-and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives.
