Rather than building experimental AI prototypes, you will contribute to practical solutions that can be adopted across the organisation.\nThroughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience with enterprise integration technologies, cloud platforms, AI, and modern software architecture while working in an Agile environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nDepending on project needs, you may be involved in:\nAI Solution Development\nDevelop AI-powered assistants and agents to support solution design and engineering activities.\nBuild and enhance Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) knowledge assistants using approved Middleware reference architectures.\nPrototype AI-enabled middleware solutions using technologies such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI Gateways, and Agentic AI.\nSolution Architecture & Integration\nSupport the development of reusable architecture patterns, templates, and technical assets.\nAssist in designing API Gateway and enterprise integration solutions.\nContribute to event-driven architecture designs using messaging platforms such as Kafka, Solace, RabbitMQ, Confluent, and IBM MQ.\nDevOps & Observability\nSupport the creation of monitoring dashboards, observability patterns, and operational runbooks.\nAssist in documenting resiliency, security, and non-functional requirements (NFRs) for enterprise solutions.\nResearch & Innovation\nResearch emerging AI, cloud, integration, and automation technologies.\nEvaluate new tools and recommend improvements to Middleware capabilities.\nContribute ideas that improve engineering productivity and solution delivery.\nCollaboration & Delivery\nWork with senior architects and engineers in Agile sprint teams.\nParticipate in solution discussions, design reviews, sprint planning, and technical demonstrations.\nDevelop reusable assets for internal adoption, project delivery, and presales demonstrations.\nDocument technical designs, implementation guides, and best practices.\nBasic understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.\nKnowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.\nInterest in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents.\nBasic understanding of APIs, system integration, or automation technologies.\nFamiliarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD, monitoring, or observability is an advantage.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nCurious and eager to explore emerging technologies.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nWillingness to learn enterprise integration platforms such as Kong, Solace, Kafka, Workato, and IBM MQ.\nProactive, adaptable, and willing to take ownership of assigned work.\n We are driven by our AEIOU beliefs-Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity-and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives.
