NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group.\n The intern will contribute to meaningful digital transformation initiatives by supporting the development and enhancement of enterprise applications using the OutSystems low-code platform.\nKey projects include:\nApplication Development & Enhancement: Participate in designing, developing, and testing application modules for enterprise or government systems, translating business requirements into functional low-code solutions.\nSystem Integration Activities: Support end-to-end solution alignment by collaborating with cross-functional teams on system integration and technical discussions.\nUser Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Assist in system testing activities and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth UAT execution.\nPost-Implementation Support: Help resolve defects, investigate errors, and support system maintenance activities to ensure optimal application performance in production.\nDocumentation & Governance: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including requirement specifications, test cases, and user manuals, in accordance with established standards.\nThis internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world application development in a fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced developers and business analysts to deliver impactful solutions for our clients.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nAnalyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into application design using the OutSystems platform.\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain application components in accordance with NCS standards and guidelines.\nCollaborate with system analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to support project delivery activities.\nParticipate in system integration activities and technical discussions to ensure solution alignment.\nSupport system testing, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).\nInvestigate and fix reported problems or bugs to ensure smooth execution in production.\nPrepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and artefacts required for delivery and governance.\nParticipate in up-skilling workshops and courses as required by the Project Manager.\nEnsure all code and deliverables comply with security guidelines and best practices.\nCommunicate progress, challenges, and learnings with the team regularly.\n Currently pursuing studies in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.\nBasic understanding of software development concepts and methodologies.\nFamiliarity with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., OutSystems, Mendix) is advantageous but not mandatory.\nExposure to programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or similar is a plus.\nBasic knowledge of databases, APIs, and web technologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nSoft Skills\nStrong communication skills: Proficient in written and spoken English; able to articulate ideas clearly.\nDetail-oriented: Structured and methodical approach to work with a keen eye for accuracy.\nProactive and self-motivated: Takes initiative and demonstrates a strong commitment to results and quality standards.\nTeam player: Able to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently when required.
