This role ensures optimal performance of production equipment through preventive maintenance, installation, and repair activities, while adhering to safety standards and company guidelines.\nResponsibilities:\nTroubleshoot, test, repair, and service electrical, hydraulic, electronic, pneumatic, chilled water, and material handling systems, as well as other production support equipment.\nPerform preventive maintenance on all production equipment per written PM instructions.\nInstall machinery under the guidance of the Plant Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, and Machinery Lead Technician.\nFabricate and install safety devices, access platforms, water systems, and electrical services.\nRig, install, and test injection molding machinery and related support equipment.\nTrain others on specific tasks as needed.\nWork under general supervision with latitude for creativity, initiative, and independent judgment.\nFollow established guidelines and instructions to ensure safe and efficient operations.\nPerform related duties as assigned\nPosition Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nTrade school or two-year college degree in industrial mechanics required.\n2-4 years of hands-on experience in an industrial setting.\nFormal training in industrial mechanics required.\nSpecialized training in maintenance crafts highly desirable.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nStrong knowledge of industrial machinery mechanics, electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and pipefitting.\nSkilled in solvent welding of PVC pipe and fittings, metal cutting, welding, brazing, rigging, and safety procedures.\nQualified to work on electrical systems up to 480 volts per NDS-defined procedures.\nFamiliarity with safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and industrial maintenance equipment.\nCertified forklift operator.\nClean DMV record.\nWork Conditions:\nAbility to stand, stretch, bend, walk, lift, and transport up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to climb stairs and silo ladders up to 40 feet.\nExposure to oils, lubricants, chemicals, cleaning agents, paint, welding fumes, and high noise levels.\nNon-smoking environment.\nRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE).\nStandard schedule: 40 hours per week (may include overtime and weekends).\nAdditional Requirements:\nMust provide standard hand tools and toolbox (see attached Tool List).\nMust wear steel-toed protective footwear during all work hours.\nMust wear company-provided eye and hearing protection.\nMust adhere to all company safety rules and proactively protect self, coworkers, and company assets.\nHourly Range:\n$27.00 - $31.05\nIndividual pay may vary and is determined by work location, shift, and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
