Together with ADS, we are committed to preserving water for future generations while delivering sustainable solutions for residential, commercial, infrastructure, and agricultural applications.Responsibilities and Qualifications:\nDirect and coordinate all activities related to the injection molding operations.\nRole and Responsibilities\nInterpret company policies to workers and enforce all company safety and housekeeping policies, practices and goals.\nRun all necessary computerized reports.\nInterpret injection molding schedules and work orders and assign duties.\nSet up molding machines to run safely, quality products at optimum productivity.\nPerform product changes (ID and resin type and color) on the machines.\nPerform nozzle filter cleaning and changes as needed.\nInspect products to verify conformance to specifications and change machine set-ups as necessary for best quality and cycle time performance.\nProvide and facilitate all the needs of the production operators for optimal performance.\nRecommend measures and strive towards improving safety, quality, production methods, and equipment performance.\nAnalyze and assist production operators in solving work problems.\nReview and prepare as needed daily production reports.\nMaintain a safe and clean work environment.\nTrain workers on how to safely perform their duties.\nBe a role model in applying the NDS Core Values.\nPerform any other jobs as directed from time to time in order to perform the duties of production workers, molding floor workers, and pallet movers.\nPosition Requirements\nEducation: Minimum of a high school diploma.\nExperience: Minimum one-year work experience in injection molding operations and manufacturing.\nLicenses/Certifications: Certified or certifiable to operate an industrial forklift.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Fluent in reading, writing and speaking in English language.\nBasic computer knowledge.\nGood knowledge of manufacturing practices, especially in plastics injection molding.\nAbility to operate an industrial forklift.\nAbility to supervise groups of people.\nWork Conditions\nOccasionally cold, hot, moving mechanical parts, confined work areas and high noise levels (hearing protection will be provided).\nTraining, Safety and PPE Requirements\nAll employees will receive training in our ISO management systems, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015; as well as all OSHA & Safety required trainings in accordance with their job duties/department.\nAll employees are required to adhere to the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements on production floor set forth by the EHS & Management Team. Employees are required to wear 3 forms of PPE when entering production:\nSafety Glasses - ANSI Z87.\nEar Plugs.\nSafety Shoes - steel toe, Composite, Alloy. Shoe covers are meant for visitors only and are not acceptable as safety shoes for employees unless approved by safety.\nDependent on the station/department that the employee works, more PPE can be required.\nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
