Together with ADS, we are committed to preserving water for future generations while delivering sustainable solutions for residential, commercial, infrastructure, and agricultural applications.Responsibilities and Qualifications:\nThe Senior Production Supervisor oversees daily operations within a designated production area to ensure that manufacturing goals related to volume, cost, quality, and safety are consistently met. This role involves coordinating staff, optimizing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.\nResponsibilities:\nEnsure machine setup meets production and quality goals.\nDetermine the machines and locations where work is to be assigned.\nEnsure a steady flow and process of work.\nInterface with Quality, Engineering, Payroll, Human Resources, and Management.\nAssign duties for the entire department daily.\nTrain and supervise operators in the correct and safe use of equipment.\nTrain new employees in inspection procedures and/or work instructions.\nEnsure Production Leads adhere to the responsibilities outlined in the Production Lead job description.\nEnsure employees perform their duties according to established standards and guidelines.\nReinforce compliance with health and safety regulations, company rules, policies, and procedures.\nEnsure employees work using the protective devices, measures, and procedures required by applicable occupational health and safety requirements.\nEnsure employees use or wear equipment, protective devices, or clothing as required by the company.\nEnsure employees are trained and follow prints, work/inspection procedures, and work instructions.\nEnsure employees uphold quality standards and perform inspections before completing paperwork and/or labor entry.\nEnsure paperwork and data entry are completed accurately and on time.\nEnsure machines operate at maximum efficiency and utilization.\nOrganize employees to maximize work-center efficiency.\nEnsure materials are delivered to designated areas before the start of the shift.\nReport damage to machines or tooling to supervisors and/or Maintenance immediately.\nEnsure employees meet schedules and deadlines.\nEnsure finished product is delivered to the next operation and/or designated drop-off zone.\nContinuously identify opportunities to improve production, quality, and safe working conditions.\nEnsure employees maintain proper housekeeping standards.\nMaintain communication flow between the company and employees.\nAssess employees’ ability to perform assigned jobs and identify when additional training or reassignment may be needed.\nProvide coaching and counseling to employees and Lead Hands as required.\nExecute progressive discipline when deemed necessary.\nSupport management decisions and use diplomacy when directing employees.\nMaximize and maintain plant throughput using NBS tools.\nComply with EHS standards, policies, and procedures.\nManage all Production KPIs.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.\nPosition Requirements:\nFive to seven years of previous supervisory experience.\nAbility to read and interpret dimensional and weld prints.\nAbility to train, motivate, coach, and counsel others.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees and all levels of management.\nProblem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.\nAbility to provide and receive constructive feedback.\nAbility to take ownership and be accountable for the department.\nAbility to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.\nCreativity and ability to think outside the box.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality of employee information.\nWork Conditions:\nWork is performed in a plant environment with frequent distractions and interruptions.\nFast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple demands and potential noise.\nRequires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing.\nMay involve warm or cold temperatures and exposure to noise, heat, and machinery.\nRequires regular communication with employees, peers, management, and customers, including scheduling, decision-making, forecasting, and problem-solving.\nMay involve an intense work atmosphere and use of a computer and phone.\nOvertime may be required.\nVisual Acuity: Visual acuity is required to identify defects during inspection and read machine, tool, and written information.\nAdditional Information: The employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties as requested.This job description is designed to describe the general nature and level of work performed within this classification.
