If you're energized by turning hard problems into real-world impact, we'd love to meet you.\n About the Role\nLocation: Fully remote within the continental United States.\nSolutions Product Manager will support the development and growth of Nearmap’s product solutions across Government use cases. This role assists in understanding customer needs, researching market opportunities, monitoring competitors, and helping define product requirements that create value for customers and align with company strategy.\nWorking closely with senior product leaders, the Solutions Product Manager contributes to new solution development and the optimization of existing offerings. They partner with sales, engineering, and marketing to ensure product initiatives are well-defined, deliver measurable customer impact, and support Nearmap’s growth objectives.\nThis role emphasizes hands-on execution - gathering insights, writing clear requirements, managing delivery priorities, and tracking performance, while building domain expertise in geospatial technology and location intelligence.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlay the essential role of Product Owner for the delivery stream: \nAssist senior product managers in defining product requirements and priorities for Government solutions. \nTranslate customer and business needs into clear, actionable user requirements and acceptance criteria for technical delivery teams. \nMonitor existing product metrics and provide insights to the greater product org. \nAnalyze calls and other signals to provide insight to the greater org. \nParticipate in backlog grooming, priority refinement, and requirements alignment with the technical delivery team. \nBe the domain expert, providing support and educating stakeholders:\nDevelop and maintain deep domain expertise across diverse use cases in government, with comprehensive knowledge of customer workflows, use cases, and industry-specific challenges. \nBring authoritative understanding of critical application areas such as property assessment and management, land development, public safety, portfolio/asset management, and disaster response while rapidly building expertise in emerging new needs. \nBuild and maintain highly effective relationships:\nRegularly converse with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to gather customer pain points and opportunities, and impediments to selling/upselling. \nRegularly converse with customers to understand how Nearmap products are used and perceived, and opportunities to solve addition customer problems and upsell. \nCommunicate findings back to Nearmap stakeholders in a form that drives action and improvement. \nRegularly converse with ecosystem partners, including technology platform providers, channel partners, analysts, media to boost Nearmap’s profile and presence. \nListen to sales and customer success calls on recording tools to gain understanding of customer concerns and needs. \nCompliance with Nearmap values, policies and standards, and ensure compliance with all local statutory requirements:\nComplies with responsibilities of working for a public company. \nComplies with all local legislative requirements. \nAdheres to company guidelines and the corporate Code of Conduct. \nWhere appropriate keeps up to date with legislative requirements. \nActs in an ethical way when dealing with company assets and other people. \n Experience\n5+ years of experience in government or,\nExperience with geospatial data and how it is used in government is extremely valuable. \nExperience in government procurement and the relationships between local, state and federal entities is valuable. \nBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. \nSkills\nAbility to effectively write, validate, and quantify a business case in plain language quickly and thoroughly. \nGeospatial technology, remote sensing, BIM, including familiarity with Esri, Autodesk, Bentley products. \nAbility to write clear, and concise product requirements. \nProven track record of getting things done, managing multiple tasks including communication with internal and external teams whilst consistently delivering on schedule. \nAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with in a cross-functional environment. \nAbility to derive insights from diverse data sets. \nPersonal Attributes\nExcellent written, verbal and visual communication skills. \nStrong commercial acumen, strategic thinker and revenue driven. \nExcellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines. \n Why you'll love working at Nearmap:\nWe move fast and work smart; often wearing multiple hats.
