Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.\nThe role\nNebius is looking for a Builder Community Manager to build and activate local developer ecosystems across APJ. \nThis is a high-ownership, execution-heavy role - you’ll be the face of Nebius in your region, working directly with developers, founders, and partners to grow a strong, engaged builder community. \nFor this role, we are specifically hiring for the APJ region, with a preference for candidates based in Singapore. You will report to the Head of Builder Community and work closely with regional community managers, digital marketing, developer relations, developer advocates, product marketing, and broader ecosystem teams. \nYour responsibilities will include: \nLocal Community Activation \nBuild and grow a high-quality local developer community (AI builders, engineers, technical founders) \nIdentify key hubs, communities, and influential builders in your region \nEstablish Nebius as a trusted, high-signal presence locally \nBe the Local Face of Nebius and Represent Nebius at events, meetups, and in the ecosystem \nEvents & Programs (Execution-first) \nPlan and execute meetups, workshops, hackathons, and community events \nPartner with local ecosystems (startups, VCs, universities, dev groups) \nEnsure events are builder-first, practical, and hands-on - not just talks \nBuilder Engagement \nBuild direct relationships with top developers and emerging builders \nEngage communities online (Discord, Slack, Telegram, etc.) \nTurn participants into repeat contributors and advocates \nBuild Repeatable Programs \nTurn one-off events into scalable programs (e.g., ambassador programs, recurring meetups, builder cohorts) \nDevelop playbooks that can be reused across regions \nContinuously experiment and iterate on formats \nFeedback Loop → Product & GTM \nBring insights from the community back to product, marketing, and leadership \nIdentify trends, needs, and opportunities from developers on the ground \nHelp shape how Nebius engages developers globally \nWe expect you to have: \n5 - 7+ years in community, developer marketing, events, or ecosystem roles \nStrong understanding of developer audiences (AI/ML, infra, or adjacent preferred) \nProven experience running ambassador and/or grassroots community programs \nHighly execution-driven: you can go from idea → event → results quickly \nStrong local network (or ability to build one fast) \nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills \nComfortable being the face of a brand in your region \nAble to work in a globally distributed team, with flexibility for meetings across US, Europe, and APAC time zones when needed \nNice to Have \nTechnical background or strong familiarity with AI / developer tooling \nExperience working with startups or developer ecosystems \nBenefits & Perks:\nCompetitive compensation\nCareer growth and learning opportunities\nFlexibility and ownership\nCollaborative and innovative culture\nOpportunity to work on impactful AI projects\nInternational environment and talented teams\nWhat's it like to work at Nebius:\nFast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AI \nEqual Opportunity Statement:\nNebius is an equal opportunity employer.
