Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.\nThe Role \nWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Center Electrical Lead to support the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure within a mission-critical data center environment in Lappeenranta, Finland. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background and experience working with power distribution systems, industrial maintenance, or critical facilities operations.\nThis role is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and safety of data center electrical and mechanical systems while supporting 24/7 operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nCritical Infrastructure Operations\nOperate and maintain critical electrical systems including:UPS systems\nMedium- and low-voltage switchgear\nTransformers\nBackup generators\nATS/STS equipment\nBattery systems\nPower distribution units (PDUs)\n\nMonitor facility systems using BMS/EPMS platforms.\nPerform routine inspections and operational checks of critical infrastructure.\nMaintenance & Troubleshooting\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and alarms.\nSupport emergency response and incident recovery activities.\nCoordinate with vendors and contractors during maintenance activities.\nSafety & Compliance\nFollow Finnish electrical safety regulations and company safety procedures.\nSupport lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe switching operations.\nMaintain compliance with SFS 6002, occupational safety requirements, and site policies.\nEnsure all maintenance activities are properly documented.\nOperational Support\nParticipate in 24/7 shift operations, including nights and weekends.\nMaintain accurate logs, reports, and maintenance records.\nAssist with commissioning and testing of new equipment and infrastructure upgrades.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency and reliability.\nQualifications\nRequired\nVocational qualification, diploma, or degree in:Electrical Engineering\nIndustrial Maintenance\nAutomation Technology\nPower Systems\n\nExperience working with electrical infrastructure or industrial systems.\nKnowledge of:Power distribution systems\nElectrical troubleshooting\nPreventive maintenance practices\n\nAbility to read electrical schematics and single-line diagrams.\nGood English communication skills.\nPreferred\nData center or mission-critical facility experience.\nSFS 6002 Electrical Safety certification.\nExperience with medium-voltage systems.\nKnowledge of HVAC/cooling infrastructure.\nExperience using CMMS, BMS, or EPMS systems.\nFinnish language skills are an advantage.\n\nBenefits & Perks:\nCompetitive compensation\nCareer growth and learning opportunities\nFlexibility and ownership\nCollaborative and innovative culture\nOpportunity to work on impactful AI projects\nInternational environment and talented teams\nWhat's it like to work at Nebius:\nFast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AI \nEqual Opportunity Statement:\nNebius is an equal opportunity employer.
