Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.\nThe Role \nAs the Data Center GM will lead data center operations across our Midwest region, starting with our Missouri site and expanding to additional locations over time. \nThis is a senior leadership role with full ownership of operations, performance, and team build-out across multiple sites. You will act as the primary interface between Nebius and external partners, while ensuring our data centers operate reliably, efficiently, and at scale. \nThis role is closest in scope to a Regional Operations Director in a hyperscale environment, combining hands-on operational leadership with regional ownership. \nResponsibilities:\nOwn end to end data center operations across the region, including critical facilities and IT infrastructure \nEnsure uptime, performance, and SLA delivery across all sites \nScale from a single-site operation to a multi-site regional footprint (Missouri → additional U.S. locations) \nHire, lead, and develop data center managers and operations teams \nAct as the primary operational interface with external partners, including vendors, utilities, and service providers \nDrive incident response and operational improvements, including root cause analysis and process standardization \nImplement and maintain operational excellence frameworks, monitoring, and performance visibility \nEnsure safety, compliance, and regulatory adherence across all sites \nPartner with internal teams (engineering, network, hardware) to support capacity delivery and expansion \nRequirements:\n10+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical operations \nExperience leading data center operations teams and site managers \nStrong background in critical environment infrastructure (power, cooling, environmental systems) \nExperience working with third-party vendors and external stakeholders \nProven ability to operate in high-availability, large-scale environments \nStrong leadership skills with a track record of building and scaling teams \nAbility to operate with ownership, accountability, and autonomy \nPreferred Skills:\nExperience in hyperscale environments \nExperience managing multi-site or regional operations \nFamiliarity with: \nServer hardware and rack infrastructure \nLinux systems and basic networking (DHCP, DNS) \nMonitoring systems and performance analysis \nExperience supporting data center expansion or new site builds \nKey employee benefits in the US:\nHealth insurance: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and families.\n 401(k) plan: Up to 4% company match with immediate vesting.\nParental leave: 20 weeks paid for primary caregivers, 12 weeks for secondary caregivers.\nRemote work reimbursement: Up to $85/month for mobile and internet.\nDisability & life insurance: Company-paid short-term, long-term and life insurance coverage.\nPay Transparency\nWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
