We’re seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a talented team of experts dedicated to delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.\nThe role offers the opportunity to contribute across major national programmes, spanning justice and probation, national licensing, and beyond. It is well suited to an engineer who wants real technical influence, enjoys helping teams succeed, and wants to play a meaningful part in developing the next generation of large-scale public-sector services.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTake ownership of cloud infrastructure from provisioning through to day-to-day operations, working closely with our Solutions Architect on significant changes.\n\nUse Infrastructure as Code as the default for everything, maintaining and improving our setup as the infrastructure evolves.\n\nKeep our CI/CD pipelines fast and reliable. When something breaks or slows down, you investigate and fix it properly rather than patching around it.\n\nMonitor environments to track performance, uptime, and resource usage. Responding and troubleshooting any issues that might arise.\n\nStay curious about what is happening in the industry. If there is a better way to do something, we want to hear about it. Bring ideas, run spikes and make the case. We’re open to changing how we work when there is a good reason to.\n\nWork closely with wider teams to understand needs and provide DevOps solutions.\n\n What We’re Looking For\nSeveral years running cloud infrastructure in production on AWS. Experience with Azure is a bonus.\n\nKnowledge of Terraform (Teragrunt is a bonus) beyond the basics. You’ve managed complex estates, written reusable modules, and worked across multiple environments.\n\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD in a production context.\n\nAbility to write Python or Bash to automate.\n\nExperience with CI/CD (CircleCI is a bonus) at a level where you have created pipelines, not just used them.
