You will work with our product and development teams to ensure that we are constantly analysing the automated tests that we design and execute for each of our products.\nYou will report to the QA Manager, work alongside the Test Lead, product and development teams to ensure a high standard of quality in our products. You will carry out automated functional testing on our products. You will have the chance to test modern products based on Microsoft .NET technology.\nYou will design, maintain and execute suites automated tests using modern languages and tools such as C#, Visual Studio, Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Mocha, JavaScript, TypeScript and Microsoft Azure DevOps.\nYou will be responsible for working through and developing our backlog to make constant improvements and additions to our existing automated tests. You will review and automate existing manual test cases. scalability and maintainability of automation solutions.\nPromote shift-left testing practices and support developers in embedding quality.\nImplementation of automation frameworks for middleware and backend service-based applications in critical infrastructure design.\nDesigning and executing automated tests on the latest revisions of the software.\nParticipating in the development of our automated testing framework, assisting our move towards automated testing in a CI/CD environment.\nInterpreting requirements from existing manual test cases and specification documents.Liaising with Manual Testers and / or Business Analysts to understand the requirements.\n\nLiaising with the product and development teams to ensure that our backlog is up to date\nProviding estimates regarding the test effort required to complete work.\nRaising bugs and liaising with the development team from discovery through to resolution\nSetting up and configuring the testing environment and associated database(s)\nPreparing the test execution report and sharing it with stakeholders.\nRequired technical skills and experience\nExperience with C# / Java Script/ Type Script\n6 to 10 years of experience in Test Automation using various tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Mocha etc\nExperience developing and executing automated test cases for User Interfaces\nKnowledge of software development in a web and desktop environment\nRequired soft skills and experience\nClear and concise communicator\nAble to prioritise between several tasks at any one time\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\nDetailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found\nHighly organized, detail oriented, extremely responsive\nBe comfortable discussing technical aspects of projects with other testers, developers & business owners.\nDesirable skills and experience\nExperience using Azure DevOps\nExperience using Selenium and Playwright or equivalent
