- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience with knowledge of all phases of SDLC, having spent at-least 3+ years in leading and managing development teams using Agile methodologies
- Native Cloud knowledge and hands on experience from a platform perspective (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS)
- AWS and/or Azure development and deployment experience including microservice architecture on the cloud
- Understanding and working knowledge of using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to represent service architecture and configuration
- Passionate about fast feedback cycles, continuous integration, devops, and test automation
- Experience building secure, scalable software systems (UI, API’s, data persistence layers)
- Experience leading a cross functional software team including frontend/backend/QA/Devops engineers
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Java-based microservices (mandatory)
- Frontend/UI experience (React/Angular/TypeScript/NodeJS) is a plus
- Experience working with and leading remote teams including offshore resources
- Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retros, backlog grooming)
- Hands-on coding and technical contribution experience is mandatory
- Has worked with UK clients and team (Preferred)
- Has working experience of the onshore - offshore model
- Has experience of commercial awareness in aspects such as revenue recognition and margin management
