Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end infrastructure and deployment lifecycle for one or more products.
• Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and deployments using Helm charts.
• Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc. ).
• Ensure high system reliability, uptime, and performance through monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, etc. ).
• Perform infrastructure upgrades, patching, and cost optimization across environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure quick resolution with minimal downtime.
• Manage secrets, access controls, and cloud security best practices (IAM, networking, encryption).
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to enable faster and safer releases.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for scalability and maintainability.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps/cloud engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (mandatory) and working knowledge of Azure.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Helm charts and microservices deployment.
• Strong experience with Terraform (primary) and CloudFormation.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of networking, load balancers, DNS, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, the ELK stack, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash / Python).
• Experience handling production systems and incident management.
• Ability to independently manage and own infrastructure for a product.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance (SOC 2 etc. ).
• Experience in high-scale or startup environments.
• Exposure to cost optimization and FinOps practices.
