This role needs two strong candiates to join us.\nJob Responsibilities\nConsult and provide advice on the use of the multiple technologies. Address the needs of the bank by deploying, supporting and configuring multiple technologies\n30% of the responsibilities involve team leadership, while the remaining 70% necessitate a hands-on contribution\nDevelop solutions using knowledge of the technologies\nEnsure ongoing availability within the SLA requirements\nEnsure maximum exploitation of the multiple technology features across multiple business initiatives.\nIdentify further opportunities for use of the technologies\nContribute to a culture of transformation by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives, business strategy, and CSI\nStay abreast of developments in field of expertise, ensuring personal and professional growth\nUnderstand and embrace the Nedbank vision and values, leading by example\nSeek opportunities to improve business processes, models and systems\nParticipate in Research and Development related to specific\nEnsure alignment with emerging technologies, and impact on Nedbank technologies and legislative requirements\nProvide problem solving in high impact incidents\nPresent to stakeholders on any impact or change to multiple technologies\nEngage with vendors related to multiple technologies\nMeet bank's needs by presenting on the exploitation of the technologies\nBecome a trusted consultant by providing trustworthy information and acknowledge if advice cannot be provided\nExpand IP beyond own technology speciality\nBreak down components of end to end design and defined logical units of work\nRaise unallocated or missing components of design with project lead. Validate the individual design components and integrate these into end to end design\nEnsure test strategy covers full end to end design\nProvide integration solutions and validate the technical component design\nReview and approve component designs\nConsult on the resolution of high impact problem solving across. Participate in Severities (Sev's) and provide expert guidance and solutions on technical problems\nProvide the application flow\nDocument and maintain the end to end design\nBuild end to end design and release to stakeholders\nEnsure alignment to IT strategy to architecture roadmaps\nUpskill all stakeholders. Lead end to end design on project\nEnsure awareness of Group Technology initiatives and standards\nSupport the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values\nEnable skilling and required corrective action to take place by sharing knowledge and industry trends with team\nObtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes to improve stakeholders' businesses\nEssential Qualifications - NQF Level\nProfessional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree\nEssential Certifications\nAccredited where formal expert certification on technology is availableJMP or MMP or equivalent\n\nMinimum Experience Level\n10- 15 years experience in an IT environment across infrastructures of which at least 2 years in a senior role from feeder areas\n8+ years Java experience\nTechnical / Professional Knowledge\nBanking knowledge\nBusiness Acumen\nBusiness writing\nPrinciples of financial management\nPrinciples of project management\nRelevant regulatory
