The candidate will support the Analysts in delivering extensive company and industry research, constructing detailed company and industry financial models, and marketing written research recommendations to clients and institutional salespeople.\nResponsibilities:\nWorking in partnership with the Senior Analyst, the objective of the Associate is to:\nBuild strong industry knowledge of the Industrial Technology sector;\nDevelop, maintain and forecast detailed earnings models (revenue model, income statement, balance sheets, cash flow);\nAnalyze industry market, economic and technology trends;\nAssist in writing reports/notes on companies under coverage universe, related companies and industry analysis;\nDevelop relationships with management teams and industry contacts;\nCommunicate with sales force and traders, clients and company management teams.\nKey qualifications / Requirements:\n2-4 yrs. of experience in finance or accounting, preferably Equity Research or Investment Banking experience;\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred;\nSecurities Industry Essentials, Series, 63, 7, 86 and 87 (possession or willingness to obtain);\nProgress towards CFA a plus;\nSelf-starter with ability to work independently ;\nStrong work ethic with a focus on teamwork;\nHigh fluency in accounting and financial statement analysis;\nAdvanced knowledge of Excel;\nHighly detail-oriented;\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills; and\nPassionate interest in equity markets and technology.\nThe good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $115,000- $140,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, license registration status; market conditions; and business needs.
