We offer a competitive salary, learning opportunities, and a range of benefits.\n\nThe Position:\nNeelands is searching for a HVAC Estimator to be part of our Service HVAC Department. This role will report to the Service Manager, HVAC and will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for HVAC repairs, replacements, retrofits, and small projects, while coordinating approved work from quotation through completion and billing. This role will work closely with customers, technicians, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on budget, and with a high level of customer satisfaction. \nThis is a full-time, in-office position based in either our Burlington, Ontario or Collingwood, Ontario location. The salary range for this role is $55,000 – $70,000. Please note the salary information is general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\n\nResponsibilities:\nReview technician recommendations, service reports, drawings, and customer requirements to prepare accurate quotations for HVAC repairs, replacements, and small project work.\nDevelop labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.\nObtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors and prepare scopes of work, inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions.\nMaintain quote records and follow up on outstanding quotations.\nProcess change requests and additional work quotations as required.\nCoordinate approved quoted work, including scheduling technicians, ordering materials and equipment, and creating purchase orders.\nCommunicate approved work requirements to technicians, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.\nMonitor the progress of quoted work and assist in resolving scheduling, material, or scope-related issues.\nProvide customers with updates throughout the quoting and coordination process.\nSupport dispatch and service administration functions as required.\nReview completed work for estimate accuracy and ensure jobs are ready for invoicing.\n\nQualifications:\n3-5 years of commercial HVAC industry experience preferred.\nHVAC estimating, service coordination, project coordination, or field experience considered an asset.\nAbility to read drawings, specifications, and technical documents.\nProficient with Microsoft Office; ERP software experience is an asset.\nPost-secondary education.\n\nWhat you Bring to the Team:\nStrong estimating and job costing abilities.\nExcellent organization and attention to detail.\nEffective communication and customer service skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nCommercial awareness and focus on profitability.\nA self-starter who is highly effective working independently and within a team\nFlexibility, along with the ability to operate well under pressure\nA positive, hands-on, “can-do” attitude\n\nWhy join Neelands? \nPaid Time Off – Vacation & Sick Days\nBenefits\nRRSP/DPSP\nCompetitive Salary\nPaid weekly\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nProfessional Development and Training\n\nOur hiring process includes AI screening for keywords and minimum qualifications.
