What we need is someone who has built polished, high-performance B2C products at a startup, knows how to ship fast without cutting corners, and can raise the bar for a growing front-end team.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n1. Front-End Architecture : \n\n- Define and evolve the front-end stack, patterns, and conventions.\n\n- Make decisions on state management, component design, performance strategy, and build pipelines.\n\n- Build and maintain scalable, reusable components and patterns that support multiple products and use cases.\n\n2. B2C Product Development : \n\n- Build responsive, mobile-first web applications that serve thousands of merchants and end users.\n\n- Obsess over load times, interaction quality, and polish.\n\n3. Team Leadership : \n\n- Lead and mentor a small team of front-end developers.\n\n- Run code reviews, establish standards, and create an environment where engineers grow.\n\n4. API Integration : \n\n- Work with back-end teams to design and integrate RESTful APIs and own the contract between front end and back end.\n\n5. Design Collaboration : \n\n- Partner with product designers to translate Figma/design specs into pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces and contribute to and maintain a shared design system.\n\n6. Quality & Testing : \n\n- Champion front-end testing culture using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress and ensure critical user flows are covered.\n\n7. Performance : \n\n- Monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals, bundle sizes, and rendering performance and set up tooling to catch regressions early.\n\nTech Stack : \n\n- Deep expertise in the first two is non-negotiable; the rest you should be comfortable with or ready to pick up quickly.\n\n- Must-have : Next.js, Tailwind CSS\n\n- Core : React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)\n\n- Testing : Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress (or equivalent)\n\n- Tooling : Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Webpack/ Turbopack\n\n- Collaboration : JIRA, Confluence, Agile/Scrum workflows\n\n- Nice to have : Familiarity with Figma, analytics/A/B testing platforms, monorepo tooling\n\nQualifications & Experience : \n\n- B.Tech, B.E., MCA or equivalent.\n\n- 6 - 8 years of hands-on front-end development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.\n\n- Experience working at a startup;
