This is a hands-on individual contributor role for an engineer who can independently own complex technical problems and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Own software development across the complete product lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production monitoring.\n\n- Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend services and applications.\n\n- Translate product and business requirements into robust technical solutions.\n\n- Develop high-quality code following established engineering and design principles.\n\n- Design and build APIs, services, and integrations using Java and Spring Framework.\n\n- Apply appropriate data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to solve complex engineering problems.\n\n- Evaluate technical trade-offs related to scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.\n\n- Participate in architecture and design discussions and contribute to improving engineering practices.\n\n- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests and proactively identify potential production issues.\n\n- Debug complex technical problems, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issues through to resolution.\n\n- Monitor applications in production and contribute to system reliability, performance, and observability.\n\n- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to peers.\n\n- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.\n\n- Take end-to-end ownership of features and technical initiatives with minimal supervision.\n\nRequired Skills :\n\n- 6 - 8 years of strong hands-on experience as a Software Engineer / Backend Engineer.\n\n- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with the Spring Framework / Spring Boot.\n\n- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.\n\n- Experience designing and developing scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs.\n\n- Good understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data modelling.\n\n- Strong understanding of software design trade-offs involving scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.\n\n- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and production support.\n\n- Familiarity with distributed systems and high-scale applications is preferred.\n\n- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nPreferred Skills :\n\n- Experience working with high-growth internet companies, consumer technology, fintech, or large-scale digital products.\n\n- Exposure to microservices, Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.\n\n- Experience building systems handling high transaction volumes or large user bases.\n\n- Strong focus on code quality, testing, reliability, and proactively identifying defects before they reach production.\n\nWhat We
