We are growing our franchises and strengthening our capabilities.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nParticipate in quotations for new projects.\nParticipate in project reviews.\nWork with Central Engineering to develop and implement Nemera standards.\nDefine the needs for injection molding machines, peripherals, material handling systems per Nemera standards and application specific requirements.\nDetermines the energy connections (water, electricity, air) and the mold-press interfaces per Nemera standards and application specific requirements.\nWrites machine and peripheral specifications.\nContracts suppliers, analyzes offers and proposed solutions, monitors the production of equipment deadlines, quality, and safety requirements.\nOrganizes and monitors the unloading of equipment, their installation and coordinates the actions of the various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety rules.\nOrganizes and monitors machine movements between cleanrooms based on changes in site layout plans/\nOptimizes existing equipment in relation to changes in standards.\nWrites operational work instructions and trains end users (maintenance and operations) on the use of machines and peripheral equipment.\nCreates preventative maintenance work instructions to vendor guidelines and works the Method Specialist to ensure documentation stored into the MES system.\nMonitors emerging technologies, researches advancements, and proposes technical solutions to support continuous improvement and business needs.\nManages purchase requisitions and tracks project budgets and expenditures.\nParticipates in the development and implementation of the department’s progress plan.\nSupport lean and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport maintenance in identifying and solving reoccurring issues on all injection equipment\nFollow all safety procedures including the use of Personal Protective Equipment as required. \nParticipate in FAT’s at the injection molding vendor as required\nOther duties as assigned\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:\nEngineering or Technical degree or equivalent\nAbility to work with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings\nAble to frequently lift up to 40 lbs.\nAbility to push and pull items\nAbility to stand and/or walk constantly during shift\nAbility to climb up and down ladders\n3-5 years of experience in injection molding manufacturing\nPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:\n3D modeling experience (SolidWorks)\nMicrosoft Office Tools\nMust have clear and well organized oral and written communication\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWorks in an office and clean manufacturing environment that may include moderate noise levels and required appropriate PPE and cleanroom apparel \nADDITIONAL NOTES\nThis Job Description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee and may be revised at any time by the Company.\n Why Join Nemera?\nAt Nemera, we prioritize patients when creating drug delivery devices, understanding that accurate dosing and ergonomics are crucial for treatment adherence.
