We are growing our franchises and strengthening our capabilities.\n Position Purpose: This position is responsible for leading Processing Engineers responsible for the installation, validation, ramp-up and life cycle management of injection molds and molding solutions for medical device components.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nLead all injection molding process engineering and processing activities across multiple plastic injection molding sites.\nManage and organize the activity of project specific Injection team: planning, organization of work, definition and monitoring of workloads, monitoring and communication of its indicators.\nThis position oversees process development, optimization, troubleshooting, personnel management, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.\nEnsure the adequacy between the necessary skills and the objectives of the company (quality policy, processes and progress plans): participates in the definition of recruitment needs, assesses its employees, draws up the training plan, manages the integration and training of new hires in his team.\nSupport the development of specifications for injection molding machines, molds, peripherals for preparing and regulating plastics, etc., in accordance with Nemera standards\nEndorse injection validation protocols.\nPerform the reception and qualification of equipment, molds and peripherals in accordance with specifications and validation plans.\nEnsures the transfer of technical files for equipment, molds and peripherals and the training of production teams.\nLead root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.\nParticipate in internal project reviews and client project meetings.\nSupport lean and continuous improvement initiatives.\nFollow all safety procedures including the use of Personal Protective Equipment as required.\nAll other duties as assigned\n POSITION REQUIREMENTS:\nBachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering or similar technical field\nMinimun 3-5 years of supervisor experience in plastics manufacturing\n7+ years of experience in Injection Molding Processing\nStrong knowledge of scientific molding methodologies\nIndustrial manufacturing experience working in high-volume injection molding\nExperience in the qualification of complex, tight tolerance injection molds\nExperience supporting high volume production and plastic injection molding\nStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, Etc)\nClear and well organized oral and written communication\nPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:\nExperience working in a cGMP / ISO 13485 compliant manufacturing environment\nDemonstrates leadership knows how to mobilize individual and collective energies\nExcellent problem-solving skills using DMAIC methodology\nStrategic thinking\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWorks in an office and clean manufacturing environment that may include moderate noise levels and required appropriate PPE and cleanroom apparel\nADDITIONAL NOTES: This Job Description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee and may be revised at any time by the Company.\n Why Join Nemera?\nAt Nemera, we prioritize patients when creating drug delivery devices, understanding that accurate dosing and ergonomics are crucial for treatment adherence.
