We are growing our franchises and strengthening our capabilities.\n *THIS IS A 12 Hour Rotating Shift 6AM - 6PM*\nThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairs on injection molding equipment, robots, adjustments, maintenance, repair and operations of various types of assembly, subassembly, printing, and/or packaging machines. The company scope includes scientific injection molding processing operations and automation equipment in the manufacture of components and devices into FDA regulated markets. This is a high-speed and a controlled manufacturing environment (CME).\nResponsibilities:\nMaintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions\nRead, use and interpret measuring devices, gauges and inspection tools.\nPerform all required necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.\nActively participate on teams and offer suggestions for improvement.\nAnswer machine alarms as they occur and identify and address the root cause. \nFollow all 5S guidelines \nPerform and document inspections per cGMP for work instruction sheet, on device history sheet records, and work instruction sheet tables\nFollow all Lock Out/Tag Out rules\nDiagnose and troubleshoot any pneumatic, electrical or mechanical malfunction on a variety of machines \nAdjusts assembly machine units for major/minor lot production operations following department specification \nRepair and maintain electrical controls on equipment (molding, assembly and packaging machines), including servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines and devices primarily on the basis of electronic principles \nUpload programs to controls in the events of program loss or CPU replacement\nRepair robot arms and controls, including replacing bad boards, motors, encoders, etc.\nCalibrate and adjust robot pick and place locations if needed\nConduct TPM activities as required\nInput Maintenance work orders into the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (SAP) \nMonitor processes, show an awareness of issues and demonstrate corrective actions to address those issues \nPerform weekly, monthly and as required preventive maintenance (PM) \nPerform root cause analysis for safety, quality, and processing issues\nSuggest ways to improve the efficiency and safety of our work and environment Comply with all company policies \nMust be able to fluently operate presses, robots and auxiliary equipment to diagnose malfunctions, and to verify repairs.\nTroubleshoots and locates the source of the problem by observing the operation of the equipment.\nBrainstorms with other maintenance personnel, and outside technical support as needed.\nRestores damaged or malfunctioning equipment to operation by repairing, replacing and or adjusting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\nControls down time by scheduling repairs with the Maintenance Manager.\nMaintains good communications with Maintenance Manager. \nMaintains ongoing list of projects with timeline to be addressed and completed.\nAssists other maintenance personnel as needed,\nConserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
