Junior Front-end Developer

We are looking for a Junior Front-end Developer to join one of our biggest teams – DocuWare.

As one of Nemetschek Bulgaria’s largest teams, our DocuWare developers build enterprise content management solutions for digital transformation. The team develops core features for document workflow automation, approval processes, and cloud-based document management systems used by organizations globally.

YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES

• Contribute to the development of a responsive Single Page Application (SPA);
• Write clean, maintainable code in JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Work with Web Services and REST interfaces to communicate with the system back-end;
• Get to know DocuWare technologies and programming standards step by step, with the support of a mentor;
• Be part of one of the R&D SCRUM teams;
• Take part in code reviews, both receiving feedback and learning to give it;
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and explore new libraries, frameworks and tools.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

• 1–2 years of experience in front-end development;
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern front-end framework (Angular, React, Vue or similar);
• Understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive design;
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles;
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions and grow;
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Good team player;
• Good level of English;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.

CONSIDERED A PLUS

• Experience with Angular, RxJS and reactive programming;
• Familiarity with common design patterns (e.g. Dependency Injection, Observer, MVVM);
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment;
• Basic knowledge of .NET or other back-end technologies;
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or similar).
