A large part of the role is building and improving reports, implementing automated tests and keeping the application fast through test and performance code units.\n\nYOUR DAILY CHALLENGES\n\nDesign, develop and maintain Business Central extensions in AL using Visual Studio Code;\n\nCreate and maintain Word Layout and RDLC reports;\n\nConvert legacy RDLC reports to modern Word layouts where it makes sense;\n\nOptimise report performance and usability, and keep reports accurate, consistent and easy to maintain;\n\nDevelop and maintain automated test code units, including unit, integration and regression tests;\n\nBuild performance code units to measure and improve application performance;\n\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and monitor and improve code coverage;\n\nWork with Git-based source control, pull requests and code reviews;\n\nUse AI-assisted development tools to speed up development and testing, while reviewing and owning the final result;\n\nWork with Azure services as part of Business Central solutions and integrations.\n\nOUR EXPECTATIONS\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science studies;\n\nAt least 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV);\n\nStrong AL development skills in Visual Studio Code;\n\nSolid experience with Word Layout and RDLC report development;\n\nExperience writing automated tests with test codeunits and the Business Central test framework;\n\nExperience with Git-based source control and branching workflows;\n\nWorking knowledge of Azure services;\n\nUnderstanding of Business Central performance optimisation;\n\nFluent in English.\n\nCONSIDERED A PLUS\n\nExperience converting legacy RDLC reports to Word layouts;\n\nExperience with CI/CD for Business Central (AL-Go for GitHub, Azure DevOps pipelines, BcContainerHelper);\n\nExperience with performance codeunits and performance profiling tools;\n\nHands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot;\n\nExperience migrating from C/AL (Dynamics NAV) to AL;\n\nMicrosoft certification for Business Central (e.g. MB-820).\n\nWHAT YOU WILL GET\n\nTransform how construction professionals manage projects and collaborate globally;\n\nHybrid work model;\n\nAccess to conferences, training programs, and self-learning platforms;\n\nSupportive environment where your ideas matter and technical excellence is valued;\n\nShape your role and grow within a 450+ person organisation with 25+ years of software excellence;\n\nDiverse internal events and activities to build relationships across teams;\n\nComprehensive benefits and financial compensation.\n\nNemetschek Bulgaria is a leading software development company in Eastern Europe with 25+ years of experience driving innovation across industries.
