The team develops core features for document workflow automation, approval processes, and cloud-based document management systems used by organisations globally.\n\nYOUR DAILY CHALLENGES\n\nDesign, implement and test .NET services and libraries in C#;\n\nBuild and maintain Core Web APIs;\n\nContribute to a microservice architecture;\n\nWrite efficient data-access code and optimise database queries;\n\nStructure solutions with dependency injection, configuration and logging, so they stay testable and maintainable;\n\nWrite automated unit and integration tests;\n\nPackage and run services in containers in a cloud environment;\n\nMonitor and operate the services you build, and investigate issues in production;\n\nUse AI-assisted tools as part of everyday development and help the team find good ways to apply them;\n\nLearn DocuWare’s existing technologies and programming standards in depth;\n\nReview your teammates’ code, and have yours reviewed through pull requests;\n\nTake part in knowledge-sharing sessions.\n\nOUR EXPECTATIONS\n\nAt least 5 years of experience;\n\nSolid experience with C# and .NET;\n\nExperience with Core Web API;\n\nGood knowledge of databases;\n\nExperience with microservices architecture;\n\nGood knowledge of asynchronous programming (async/await), streams and resource management, and LINQ;\n\nKnowledge of HTTP and REST services;\n\nExperience writing unit tests and designing code so it can be tested;\n\nObject-oriented design skills and knowledge of patterns such as dependency injection/inversion of control;\n\nExperience with Git and a pull-request-based workflow;\n\nUnderstanding of Agile methodology;\n\nProfessional working proficiency in English;\n\nA bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field;\n\nCONSIDERED A PLUS\n\nContainerised development;\n\nExperience monitoring and operating services in production: structured logging, metrics, health checks, alerting and troubleshooting live issues;\n\nExperience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus or Grafana;\n\nExperience with one or more cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), and building services that stay independent of any one provider;\n\nFront-end experience with TypeScript and Angular;\n\nExperience designing public REST APIs;\n\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) in daily work, with a critical eye for reviewing and verifying the code they produce.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL GET\n\nWork on a meaningful product with global impact;\n\nA supportive environment where you can share ideas and be challenged;\n\nA culture of informal relationships and open communication;\n\nAccess to conferences, internal and external training, and self-learning systems;\n\nThe chance to shape your own role and contribution;\n\nInternal events and team-building activities;\n\nA good benefits and financial package.\n\nNemetschek Bulgaria is a leading software development company in Eastern Europe with 25+ years of experience driving innovation across industries.
