The team builds industry-standard software for project collaboration, document markup, and workflow automation, serving AEC professionals and government agencies worldwide.\n\nYOUR DAILY CHALLENGES\n\nDesign and build shared libraries, SDKs, and internal modules that other engineering teams depend on;\n\nDevelop service templates and golden paths that embed best practices and speed up how product teams ship new services;\n\nBuild internal developer tooling — CLIs, scaffolding, automation — that removes friction from everyday engineering work;\n\nWrite production code primarily in Go, with secondary work in .NET/C#, applying strong software engineering fundamentals;\n\nUse working knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD to design abstractions that make cloud infrastructure easy and safe for other teams to consume;\n\nPartner across engineering teams to drive adoption of shared tooling and standards — by making them genuinely useful, not by mandate;\n\nGather feedback from internal engineering „customers“ and iterate on tools and libraries based on real usage.\n\nOUR EXPECTATIONS\n\nAt least 6+ years of professional software development experience;\n\nSeveral years of production Go experience, ideally including libraries or modules that other teams depend on;\n\nWorking experience with .NET/C# in production (primary experience in Go can be exchanged with .NET/C# if the candidate is otherwise a strong fit);\n\nDemonstrated track record of building something for an internal engineering audience — a shared library, service template, internal platform, or CLI tool;\n\nWorking knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD — enough to design good abstractions and understand what product teams need, without this being your core function;\n\nStrong software design and engineering fundamentals, including experience with distributed systems and API design;\n\nComfortable working across teams and driving adoption of tools and standards through usefulness rather than authority;\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills;\n\nExcellent English proficiency (written and verbal);\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science studies ;\n\nFluent in English.\n\nCONSIDERED A PLUS\n\nExperience with containerization and Kubernetes from a consumer/integration perspective;\n\nFamiliarity with observability practices (structured logging, metrics, dashboards);\n\nBackground in platform or developer experience (DevEx) engineering;\n\nContributions to open-source libraries or developer tools;\n\nExperience migrating teams from ad hoc setups to standardised templates or platforms.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL GET\n\nBuild infrastructure and deployment systems that enable millions of construction professionals to advance the way the world is built;\n\nHybrid work model;\n\nAccess to conferences, training programs, and self-learning platforms;\n\nSupportive environment where your ideas matter and technical excellence is valued;\n\nShape your role and grow within a 450+ person organisation with 25+ years of software excellence;\n\nDiverse internal events and activities to build relationships across teams;\n\nComprehensive benefits and financial compensation.\n\nNemetschek Bulgaria is a leading software development company in Eastern Europe with 25+ years of experience driving innovation across industries.
