Together, we are committed to delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that empower our clients and foster professional growth within a dynamic and collaborative workplace.\nWe are on the lookout for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Engineering Team.\nKey Responsibilities\nLinux System Administration: Operate and maintain Linux infrastructure based on Debian and Rocky Linux.\nVirtualization & Cluster Management: Operate and maintain Proxmox VE clusters and virtual machines.\nVirtual Machine Lifecycle: Manage the full lifecycle of virtual machines, including provisioning, migration, upgrade, and decommissioning.\nSystem Updates & Upgrades: Plan and perform Linux and Proxmox updates/upgrades, including major version upgrades.\nProduction Maintenance Planning: Plan and execute infrastructure maintenance activities in production environments.\nData Protection & Disaster Recovery: Manage VM/server backup and restore processes and validate recovery procedures.\nInfrastructure Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across compute, storage, operating systems, and networking.\nAutomation & Scripting: Automate repetitive operational tasks using Ansible and scripting.\nInfrastructure Migrations: Participate in infrastructure migrations and production changes.\nChange Management & Risk Mitigation: Prepare change plans, validation steps, and rollback procedures for high-risk infrastructure changes.\nRequirements\n5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux infrastructure.\nStrong knowledge of Debian / Rocky Linux.\nHands-on production experience with Proxmox VE, KVM/QEMU and Proxmox clusters.\nGood understanding of cluster concepts including quorum, Corosync and failure scenarios.\nStrong practical experience with ZFS, including pools, datasets, snapshots, replication, disk replacement and failure recovery.\nExperience with VM migration and live migration.\nExperience performing Linux and Proxmox updates/upgrades.\nStrong Linux administration knowledge including systemd, package management, boot process, filesystems, LVM, RAID, mounts, permissions, SSH and sudo.\nGood understanding of Linux networking: TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, bonding, DNS, MTU and firewall basics.\nHands-on experience with backup and restore, including recovery after VM or server failures.\nUnderstanding of backup, snapshot and replication concepts.\nExperience with Proxmox Backup Server or similar solutions.\nPractical experience with Ansible, Bash and Git.\nStrong troubleshooting skills for CPU, memory, disk I/O, filesystem and network issues.\nNice to Have\n\nExperience with shared or distributed storage systems, such as Ceph, SAN, iSCSI, NFS or similar solutions.\nPython.\nMonitoring systems such as Zabbix, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics or Grafana.\nExperience with physical servers and data center hardware.\nHardware RAID / HBA.\nIPMI / iDRAC / iLO.\nExperience participating in disaster recovery or infrastructure migration projects.\nSoft Skills\n\nStrong ownership and responsibility.\nCareful approach to production changes.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues independently.\nGood documentation and communication skills.\nFocus on automation, reliability and operational simplicity.\nBenefits\nRecharge your batteries with 20 paid working vacation days annually to explore, relax, and rejuvenate.\nKick off your birthday month with a bang!
