You will work directly with our core Django architecture, API ecosystems, and front-end interface builders to maintain and expand our Digital Wallet, Loan Management System, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) modules, decision engine, and third-party integrations.\nIn this role, we strongly encourage and expect the use of modern AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude and Cursor) to accelerate feature delivery, streamline code refactoring, and automate complex workflows.\nCore Responsibilities\n\nBackend Development: Maintain, build, and optimize isolated, pluggable Django applications using Python 3.6+ and Django REST Framework.\n\nAPI Development & Integration: Design and implement REST APIs, Mobile APIs, and integrations with payment gateways, external data providers, and credit bureaus.\n\nDatabase Management: Design schema models using Django ORM and write efficient PostgreSQL queries for middle- to high-load production environments.\n\nFrontend & No-Code Tools: Support UI/UX integrations using GrapesJS, Formio, and customized frontend modules for site builders and onboarding flows.\n\nPerformance & Infrastructure: Optimize system scalability on AWS/virtual machines utilizing Nginx, uWSGI, Redis, RabbitMQ, Traefik, and Docker containers.\n\nPlatform Customization: Implement features across the Loan Origination System (LOS), Underwriting Studio, CRM, past-due tracking/servicing modules, and BNPL widgets.\n\nTechnical Requirements\nMust-Have Qualifications\n\nPrimary Language & Framework: Core expertise in Python (3.6+) and Django Framework (3.x).\n\nAPI Frameworks: Hands-on experience building and consuming APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF), FistAPI.\n\nDatabases: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, Django ORM).\n\nCaching & Message Queues: Experience with Redis and RabbitMQ for processing asynchronous tasks and background queues.\n\nWeb Servers & Deployment: Experience configuring Nginx, uWSGI, and working with containerization via Docker.\n\nVersion Control: Proficiency with Git (GitHub / GitLab workflow).\n\nNice-to-Have Skills & Experience\nSearch Engines: Experience configuring Elasticsearch or Solr.\n\nFrontend Tools: Familiarity with frontend frameworks or builder libraries like GrapesJS and Form.io.\n\nInfrastructure & Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, Ubuntu LTS
