provide reports and insights to Maintenance and Engineering leadership.\nEnsure CMMS workflows align with maintenance procedures, audits, and regulatory requirements.\nAsset Management & Preventive Maintenance\nMaintain accurate and complete asset records for facility and assigned operational equipment, including:Asset hierarchy\nEquipment criticality\nManufacturer data\nSpare parts and BOMs\n\nDevelop, write, optimize, and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) procedures for:Building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities)\nFacility infrastructure\nSelected operational or support equipment\n\nSchedule weekly, monthly, semiannual, and annual PMs in CMMS to ensure compliance and asset reliability.\nReview PM effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for frequency or task improvements.\nMaintenance Crib & Inventory Management\nOwn and manage the maintenance crib and spare parts inventory, including:Stocking, labeling, and organization\nCycle counts and inventory accuracy\nMin/max and reorder point management\n\nSource, purchase, and receive maintenance materials, tools, and spare parts.\nObtain quotations, place purchase orders, track deliveries, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.\nMaintain cost control and inventory optimization while minimizing downtime risk.\nIssue parts to maintenance technicians and contractors; ensure accurate CMMS inventory transactions.\nCollaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to identify critical spares and improve parts standardization.\nContractor & Maintenance Support Coordination\nCoordinate and support outside contractors by issuing work orders, ensuring scope clarity, and verifying material readiness.\nAssist with scheduling facility maintenance activities to minimize operational disruption.\nSupport equipment installations, relocations, and facility modifications through CMMS planning and material coordination.\nOperate fork trucks and material-handling equipment as trained for inventory and material movement.\nSafety, Compliance & Standards\nSupport maintenance safety and regulatory compliance by ensuring PM documentation and work orders meet required standards.\nPromote organized, clean, and safe crib and work environments.\nFollow company policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable local and state regulations.\nCollaboration & Communication\nWork closely with Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance Manager, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.\nCommunicate maintenance priorities, material constraints, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.\nAccept task direction and prioritization from the Maintenance Manager or Engineering leadership.\nAct as a bridge between field execution and maintenance planning.\nAdministrative & Reporting Responsibilities\nMaintain accurate CMMS records for:Work orders\nPM completion\nAsset history\nInventory transactions\n\nGenerate maintenance, inventory, and compliance reports as required.\nTrack KPIs such as PM compliance, backlog health, inventory turns, and asset reliability indicators.\nPosition Requirements & Qualifications\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in:CMMS administration\nMaintenance planning/scheduling\nMaintenance inventory or storeroom management\nIndustrial or facilities maintenance environment\n\nExperience in manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environments preferred.\nTechnical Knowledge\nWorking knowledge of:Industrial facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities)\nPreventive maintenance principles\nMaintenance inventory management\nCMMS platforms (asset management, work orders, PMs, inventory modules)\n\nSkills & Abilities\nStrong organizational and planning skills.\nAbility to analyze maintenance data and identify improvement opportunities.\nProficient in reading technical manuals, procedures, and asset documentation.\nBasic math skills related to inventory, costing, and measurements.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nPhysical Demands\nRegularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, and communicate.\nOccasional lifting of inventory and materials:Up to 25 lbs regularly\nUp to 50 lbs frequently\nUp to 100 lbs occasionally\n\nAbility to work in industrial environments including maintenance shops and storerooms.\nWHO IS NEOGEN:\nFrom farm to fork, we offer solutions to enhance the quality, quantity and safety of the global food supply.
