This role serves as the strategic marketing leader for the segment, translating customer needs, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and business priorities into differentiated positioning, go-to-market strategies, demand-generation programs, and sales enablement tools.\nWorking closely with Portfolio, Commercial, Regional Marketing, and other cross-functional partners, this role connects global strategy with regional execution to strengthen Neogen’s position in the Dairy market and drive measurable commercial results.\nKey Responsibilities\nSegment Strategy & Planning\nDevelop and maintain the global marketing strategy and annual marketing plan for the Dairy segment, including budgets, priorities, and KPIs\nAnalyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, industry developments, and emerging opportunities to identify growth priorities\nDefine target customer segments, personas, applications, buying journeys, and value propositions\nTranslate business objectives into clear segment marketing priorities, strategies, and initiatives in partnership with Portfolio and Commercial teams\nUse customer, market, and competitive insights to identify opportunities for growth and inform strategic decision-making\nPositioning, Messaging & Demand Generation\nDevelop compelling global positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to priority customer segments and applications\nCreate and maintain segment-level messaging architecture and ensure consistency across regions, channels, and customer touchpoints\nDevelop integrated global marketing campaigns designed to generate awareness, engagement, qualified demand, pipeline, and revenue growth\nEstablish campaign strategies, target audiences, channels, content requirements, and measurement plans\nMonitor campaign and commercial performance and continuously optimize programs based on performance data, customer insights, and business results\nPartner with regional marketing teams to adapt global campaigns and messaging to local market needs while maintaining overall strategic consistency\nSales Enablement & Commercial Alignment\nDevelop compelling, differentiated, and easy-to-use marketing and sales enablement tools that support commercial teams throughout the customer journey\nPartner with Sales and Commercial leadership to ensure marketing strategies and programs address customer needs and support business priorities\nParticipate in strategic customer meetings, industry events, and customer discovery activities as appropriate\nEstablish strong feedback loops between Marketing and Sales regarding leads, opportunities, customer needs, and campaign effectiveness\nIncorporate commercial and customer feedback into ongoing segment strategy and marketing programs\nGlobal & Regional Leadership\nServe as the global marketing subject-matter expert and champion for the Dairy segment\nEstablish a consistent global segment strategy while partnering with regional teams to tailor execution to local market conditions and customer needs\nProvide strategic direction and guidance to regional marketing partners to support effective execution\nShare best practices, customer insights, market intelligence, and successful programs across regions and segments\nPromote alignment across Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, Portfolio, Commercial, and other cross-functional stakeholders\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field\n7+ years of B2B marketing experience\nExperience developing and executing B2B marketing strategies and programs\nExperience with B2B customer journeys, demand generation, content strategy, digital marketing, and sales enablement\nExperience translating customer, market, and competitive insights into marketing strategies and initiatives\nStrong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage customers and internal stakeholders\nPreferred Qualifications\nMBA or other relevant advanced degree\nMarketing experience within food safety, industrial, life sciences, manufacturing, or another technical environment\nExperience developing or executing global marketing strategies\nExperience partnering with regional marketing and commercial teams across multiple markets\nExperience developing segment-level positioning, messaging, value
