Join us in our mission to protect and enhance global food and animal safety!\nJob Summary: Operates machinery used in the food safety industry according to Standard Operating Procedures ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the processes.\nHours: 3rd shift -Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-4:30am\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nUses automated equipment to manufacture, assemble, or move parts/kits/products\nInspects parts/kits/products to ensure accuracy\nMay work at different stations to ensure accuracy\nMaintains equipment and facilities \nResponsible for equipment preventative maintenance of specialized and advanced equipment\nPerform tasks according to the appropriate Standard Manufacturing Procedure (SMP) or Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).\nFollow International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines in the manufacture of all reagents.\nUse good manufacturing procedures (GMP) and good documentation practices (GDP) in the manufacture of all reagents.\nParticipate in troubleshooting efforts pertaining to product failures. \nParticipate in product/process improvement of current products or processes\nMaintains the general cleanliness and organization of work areas using lean processes and 5S\nOperation, maintenance, and calibration of basic equipment necessary to perform job functions\nAdheres to any and all safety rules and regulations, including personal protective equipment, proper use of equipment, proper disposal of any and all materials etc. \nPlans and executes necessary preparatory processes for scheduled manufacturing duties in advance\nParticipates in the transfer of products from R&D and/or Manufacturability Support to Manufacturing\nProposes document updates and improvements\nPerform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time, while maintaining attention to detail\nContinually maintains and monitors machine to ensure it functions properly\nAids in Supply Management \nAssist in physical inventories as required\nPerform other duties as assigned by your supervisor and/or manager\nComply with and promote all corporate handbook policies\nComply with, promote, and strive to achieve all corporate and departmental goals. \nComply with, promote, and strive to achieve all productivity, quality, and behavior expectations.\nSkills and Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\nCultural Savvy: Demonstrates and lives One Neogen Pillars of Trust; Openness, Honesty, Credibility, Respect and Service through all actions, behaviors, and communication. \nCommunication: Communicates effectively through all necessary messaging and actively listens to others. \nLeading Others: Leads by example and creates culture of trust through teamwork. \nDecision Making and Problem Solving: Identifies information needed and makes timely decisions.
