Relocation assistance will not be provided.\nNeogen Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience supporting production processes, troubleshooting equipment, and implementing manufacturing improvements.\nThis role provides daily engineering support for products, processes, and equipment. The Manufacturing Engineer also supports the introduction of new products into production, helping meet integration timelines and goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate, troubleshoot, and improve manufacturing operations.\nJob Responsibilities\nCollaborate with R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing to support production and project goals.\nSupport new product development and existing products through process capability studies, process development, Six Sigma initiatives, and value improvement projects.\nDesign and coordinate engineering tests and experiments; analyze results and document conclusions.\nDesign, procure, and fabricate equipment, tooling, and fixtures.\nTroubleshoot manufacturing problems involving product design, materials, equipment, and processes.\nPrepare and maintain process documentation, test documentation, and technical reports.\nPrepare and manage Capital Equipment Request Authorizations.\nIdentify, implement, and manage equipment requirements to support production goals.\nLead cross-functional project teams as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Biochemical/Biosystems, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.\nAt least four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAt least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nWorking knowledge of manufacturing problem-solving and process analysis methods, including Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAt least one year of manufacturing or process engineering experience involving automated assembly.\nOne to two years of experience preparing capital project justifications and managing capital projects.\nOne to two years of design experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.\nExperience using SAP.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\nWHO IS NEOGEN:\nFrom farm to fork, we offer solutions to enhance the quality, quantity and safety of the global food supply.
