They will actively participate in equipment and process qualifications and ongoing quality system audits.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAssist in updating and generating new Manufacturing, Quality and Maintenance process documentation and data systems.\nRevise Standard Operation and Manufacturing Procedures to capture all necessary process, product, and regulatory requirements\nAssist in developing and managing engineering changes\nSubject Matter Expert on the manufacturing processes and flow\nIdentify and lead manufacturing improvements and cost reduction projects\nPerform troubleshooting on new and existing process problems\nAssist with developing and participating in training for manufacturing personnel\nLead CAPA related efforts for the technology platform\nPrimary owner for developing and managing engineering changes\nParticipates in capital requisition proposals and projects\nMaintains process maps and value stream maps\nCoordinates with Process Support and R&D as a team member for new technology transfer and development of new technology\nAssists with complaint investigations and resolution\nAssists with developing rework protocols where appropriate\nParticipates in maintaining appropriate work environmental conditions and recommends facilities modifications where appropriate\nOther Duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation and Experience\nEducation and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (Industrial Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.) Relevant associate’s degree and greater than five years relevant work experience, or no education and greater than ten years relevant work experience. Preferred experience in the following areas:\nManufacturing diagnostic testing products/assays\nSample extraction/testing\nLaboratory experience including Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)\nBiochemical processes including enzyme-substrate and antibody interactions\nAdvanced data analysis utilizing statistical software such as Minitab or Microsoft Excel\nExperimental design, process analysis and LEAN Six Sigma\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
