In this onsite role, you will apply hands-on microbiology experience and scientific problem-solving to improve commercialized products, support product and process changes, investigate technical issues, and help build future manufacturing and laboratory capability.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop, execute, and analyze experimental plans to support product improvements, process changes, technical investigations, and verification activities.\nUse microbiological principles, scientific methods, and data analysis to evaluate product and process performance.\nOwn defined project workstreams and move technical work from testing through conclusions, recommendations, and implementation support.\nSupport material qualifications, manufacturing changes or transfers, product refreshes, and continuity-of-supply projects.\nContribute data and technical rationale to Design Specification Records, product standards, and material or supply specifications.\nPartner across functions to investigate issues and implement improvements.\nPrepare clear protocols, technical reports, and presentations.\nSupport a Lean Six Sigma-oriented continuous improvement culture by using data and structured problem solving to improve quality, service, cost, process capability, and ways of working.\nWhat You Bring\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.\nHands-on laboratory experience applying microbiological principles in a technical setting.\nExperience developing, executing, and interpreting scientific studies or experiments.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.\nAbility to work onsite and collaborate with laboratory, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams.\nPreferred\nTwo or more years of relevant industry, research, or manufacturing experience.\nExperience with food safety microbiology, diagnostic products, culture-based methods, method development, or verification and validation studies.\nExperience supporting commercialized products or regulated manufacturing operations.\nExperience with statistics, Design of Experiments, trend analysis, or process capability tools.\nExperience with specifications, material qualifications, Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.\nWhy This Role Matters\nProduct Engineers connect scientific understanding with real-world product and manufacturing needs.
