The ideal candidate will have deep SAP expertise, basic operations principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead training, troubleshoot issues, and drive efficiency across the supply chain.\nProcess Governance & Documentation: Map end-to-end planning processes and maintain accurate documentation. Standardize workflows across sourcing, production, demand, and supply planning. Ensure compliance with internal controls and governance standards.\n\nTraining & Change Management: Develop and deliver training programs for SAP manufacturing functionalities. Act as a mentor and first point of contact for manufacturing teams. Support change management during SAP upgrades or process redesigns.\n\nIssue Resolution & Support: Serve as the primary liaison for SAP-related issues within planning groups. Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, data discrepancies, and integration challenges. Escalate technical issues to IT and ensure timely resolution.\n\nContinuous Improvement & Innovation: Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices and optimize planning efficiency. Participate in testing new functionalities and validating system changes.\n\nSystem Testing & Validation: Lead/Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing for SAP upgrades and enhancements for the planning group. Validate configuration changes and ensure alignment with business requirements. Document test results and communicate findings to technical and functional teams.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with warehousing, manufacturing, quality, and planning teams. Partner with IT, procurement, commercial, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration. Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to align business and system needs.\n\nSkills and Competencies:\nRequired:\nMinimum 2 years of experience with SAP ERP in a operations environment, 5 years preferred.\n\nExcellent communication and problem-solving methodology and skills.\n\nPreferred:\nStrong understanding of operational processes. Candidate requires knowledge in Basics of Operations Processes (Scheduling, Manufacturing Execution, Planning, Process execution, Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, etc.).\n\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA\n\nUnderstanding of Master Data Objects in SAP.\n\nFamiliarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems for issue tracking.\n\nBackground in IT or extensive supply chain experience.\n\nKey Competencies:\nAnalytical and data-driven decision-making.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\n\nStrong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.\n\nProactive mindset with continuous improvement focus.\n\nKPIs & Success Metrics:\nIssue Resolution Time: Average time to resolve SAP-related planning issues.\n\nTraining Effectiveness: Percentage of planning team trained and post-training competency scores.\n\nProcess Compliance: Adherence to documented workflows and governance standards.\n\nTesting Accuracy: Number of defects identified during UAT and regression testing.\n\nImprovement Initiatives: Number and impact of implemented process/system enhancements.\n\nUser Satisfaction: Feedback scores from planning teams on support and training quality.\n\nWhy Neogen\nAt Neogen we believe that taking care of our employees allows them to do their best work.
