This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with corporate tax processes while working alongside experienced accounting and tax professionals. The intern will support a variety of tax compliance, reporting, research, and administrative activities while developing an understanding of tax operations within a global organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and supporting workpapers.\nGather, organize, and analyze financial information needed for tax compliance and reporting.\nSupport preparation of tax account reconciliations and related schedules.\nAssist with sales and use tax, property tax, and other state and local tax activities as needed.\nSupport quarterly and year-end income tax provision processes.\nResearch basic tax issues and summarize findings for members of the Tax team.\nAssist with responding to tax notices and gathering documentation for audits or inquiries.\nMaintain tax files, documentation, and supporting schedules.\nWork with Accounting, Finance, and other business functions to obtain information needed for tax reporting and compliance.\nAssist with special projects, process improvements, and other tax-related activities as assigned.\nQualifications\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
