The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing database objects and handling complex data processing requirements.\nExperience in the Mutual Fund or Capital Markets domain will be highly preferred, particularly in financial systems, transaction processing, data reconciliation, and financial reporting.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server database schemas and database objects.\nDevelop and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, SQL Jobs, and scripts.\nPerform query optimization and database performance tuning to improve execution speed and efficiency.\nAnalyze execution plans, implement indexing strategies, and work with partitioning and performance monitoring.\nReview existing SQL queries and identify performance bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.\nPerform data extraction, transformation, migration, data porting, and data processing activities.\nTranslate business and financial reporting requirements into effective SQL and database solutions.\nTroubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.\nSupport production and UAT environments for database-related issues.\nPerform data validation, reconciliation, and migration activities while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.\nMaintain database security, data integrity, and compliance with established standards.\nCollaborate with application developers, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders.\nTake ownership of assigned tasks and deliver solutions independently.\nRequired Technical Skills\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.\nStrong hands-on experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and SQL Server Jobs.\nProven expertise in developing simple, medium, and complex SQL queries.\nStrong experience in complex data manipulation and data processing.\nExpertise in SQL query performance tuning and optimization.\nHands-on knowledge of indexing, execution plan analysis, partitioning, and performance monitoring.\nAbility to analyze, debug, and optimize existing SQL queries.\nStrong database troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nUnderstanding of code versioning and version control systems.\nKnowledge of database security standards and best practices.\nFamiliarity with data visualization tools will be an added advantage.\nDomain Knowledge\nGood understanding of the Mutual Fund domain is preferred.\nExperience with Capital Markets data platforms and financial systems will be an advantage.\nUnderstanding of financial transactions, business processes, data reconciliation, and financial reporting requirements is desirable.\nEducational Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.\nRelevant certifications or advanced qualifications will be an added advantage.\nPreferred Candidate Profile\n10+ years of relevant experience in SQL Server development.\nStrong technical expertise in T-SQL development and database optimization.\nAbility to work independently and manage complex database requirements.\nStrong
