The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, REST API automation, scalable test automation frameworks, and CI/CD integration.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn end-to-end QA strategy for backend services and microservices.\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API and backend testing.\nLead functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across multiple services.\nDevelop automation strategies for microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.\nIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.\nValidate asynchronous workflows, messaging queues, and event-driven communication.\nPerform deployment validation in ephemeral and dynamic test environments.\nCollaborate with developers, DevOps, and Product teams to implement shift-left testing practices.\nIdentify quality risks and recommend improvements in testability and deployment processes.\nReview automation code and establish testing best practices\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n4–6 years of experience in Software Testing with a strong focus on Backend/API Automation.\nStrong hands-on experience with Java programming.\nExpertise in REST API testing using REST Assured, HTTP Client, Postman, or similar tools.\nExperience testing Microservices-based architectures.\nHands-on experience building scalable automation frameworks.\nStrong knowledge of TestNG, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and CI/CD integration.\nExperience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.\nStrong understanding of SQL, relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), complex queries, and joins.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nUnderstanding of distributed systems, observability tools, and log analysis.\n\nGood to Have\nExperience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or Cassandra.\nKnowledge of contract testing and mocking tools such as WireMock and Pact.\nExperience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.\nHands-on experience with Python or Shell scripting.\nExperience with Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, or Splunk.\nExperience validating applications in ephemeral or dynamic test environments.\n\nCandidate Requirements\nCandidates must be currently based in Bengaluru.\nMust
