You'll lead a team of talented engineers, support customer and operational escalations, and play a key role in creating an environment where people can learn, develop, and deliver great outcomes for our customers.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs a Network Operations Team Leader, you'll create the conditions for your team to succeed.\nYou'll:\nLead a large team of NOC engineers in a 24/7 operational environment, supported by established shift structures and a collaborative leadership team.\nProvide guidance and direction during operational incidents and customer escalations, ensuring issues are managed effectively through to resolution.\nCreate a culture of ownership, collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.\nEnsure high standards of ticket quality, customer communication, documentation, and case management.\nSupport engineers with their development through regular coaching, feedback, and development planning.\nManage team performance, attendance and engagement, helping individuals achieve their potential.\nOversee shift rotas, holiday planning, and resource allocation to ensure effective operational coverage.\nWork closely with colleagues across Operations, Engineering, Service Delivery and external partners to improve customer outcomes.\nUse operational insight and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive positive change.\nDeputise for the Senior Network Operations Manager when required.\nWe're looking for someone who:\nHas experience within a NOC, telecommunications, technical operations, service desk, MSP, or similar operational environment.\nEnjoys leading, motivating and developing others, drawing on significant experience of leading large and diverse teams.\nHas a good understanding of network and telecoms technologies and feels comfortable engaging in technical discussions.\nCan confidently manage incidents, escalations, and competing priorities.\nUnderstands the importance of quality, consistency, and delivering a great customer experience.\nBuilds positive relationships and communicates effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.\nTakes a proactive approach to improving processes, ways of working, and team performance.\nCreates an inclusive, supportive environment where people can thrive.\nWhy join us?\nThis is more than a team leader role.
