This role is responsible for leading the architecture, design, analysis, prototyping, and validation of complex analog and RF hardware designs from concept through production.\nThe ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in analog and RF circuit design with strong project leadership, customer interaction, and mentoring capabilities. This position directly supports the growth and technical development of less experienced engineers while driving successful execution of high-performance hardware programs.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design and development of analog and RF circuits and subsystems for high-reliability electronic products. \nArchitect and design: RF front ends \nLNAs, mixers, filters, PLLs, oscillators \nPower amplifiers \nHigh-speed analog signal chains \nData converter interfaces \nPower management circuits \n\nDevelop schematics, simulations, PCB layout guidance, and design documentation. \nPerform RF system analysis including: Gain budgeting \nNoise analysis \nImpedance matching \nStability analysis \nSignal integrity \nEMI/EMC mitigation \n\nSupport multilayer PCB and RF material stack-up selection including Rogers, Duroid, PTFE, and mixed dielectric designs. \nCollaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams. \nLead prototype bring-up, debugging, tuning, and validation testing. \nSupport environmental, qualification, and compliance testing for ruggedized products. \nInterface directly with customers to support technical reviews, requirements development, and design trade studies. \nDrive engineering best practices including DFM, DFA, reliability, and manufacturability improvements. \nMentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across programs. \nSupport transition from prototype to production including supplier and manufacturing engagement. \nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. \n10+ years of experience in analog and RF electronic design. \nStrong background in: RF circuit design \nAnalog electronics \nMixed-signal systems \nHigh-speed PCB design \n\nExperience with RF frequencies ranging from MHz through multi-GHz applications. \nProficiency with RF simulation and design tools such as: ADS \nMicrowave Office \nHFSS \nLTspice \nAltium Designer or equivalent \n\nExperience with laboratory equipment including: Spectrum analyzers \nVector network analyzers \nOscilloscopes \nSignal generators \n\nStrong understanding of PCB materials and controlled impedance design techniques. \nExperience designing for harsh or regulated environments. \nAbility to lead technical teams and manage multiple development activities simultaneously. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with aerospace, defense, or medical electronics development. \nFamiliarity with hermetic packaging, LTCC, RF modules, or hybrid electronics. \nExperience with phased arrays, SDRs, radar, communications, or microwave systems. \nExperience with EMI/EMC compliance and mitigation techniques. \nPrior customer-facing technical leadership experience. \nDue to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen.\nBenefits Offered: Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage; company-paid basic life/AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance; voluntary supplemental insurances, flexible spending accounts and employee assistance program (EAP).
