You'll work across a modern full-stack: Next.js and React on the frontend, GraphQL federation and Node.js services on the backend, deployed on edge infrastructure built for scale and speed. You act as a pace setter and multiplier for the team, helping to mentor and build your team up to your standards of execution. You'll be deeply involved with the technical day-to-day of the team, helping the team to deliver on the product backlog, contributing to the engineering excellence roadmap, setting architectural direction and ensuring high-quality delivery throughout. You'll be diving in when needed to help set the standards and drive quality. You'll also be responsible for the people management for a team of 3-4 engineers: 1-on-1s, career development and performance management. You bring strong technical judgement to the role, having experience being the senior-most engineer on your team. You avoid micromanagement, choosing to lead through influence and mutual respect rather than authority.
