The DGC is an unusually strong and versatile attorney, capable of ranging across legal disciplines and solving problems with their non-lawyer partners throughout the business. The DGC is also a strategic leader, responsible for helping architect the legal function as Neros grows. But the DGC is also a hands-on builder, for whom no task is too small as long as it serves Neros’ goals.\n You should have the following\nJD and membership in a state bar or the District of Columbia bar\nAt least 8 years of experience in government, biglaw, or a combination\nExperience advising venture-backed companies\nA practical, solution-oriented approach to practicing law\nAn ability to translate legal concepts to non-lawyer audiences\nAn ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance\nA desire to stock the arsenal of democracy and defend the West\nNice to have\nVenture financing deals and M&A\nIn-house startup experience\nTeam sports experience\nUS Salary Range\n$249,000 - $349,000 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
