We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.\nWhat you will be doing\nThe Federal Communications Manager will lead efforts to build relationships with defense related think tanks and journalists who influence how Congress, the Pentagon, and the Executive Branch view programs related to Neros’s suite of capabilities. This position will partner with the Marketing Team to build the Neros brand through messaging campaigns, social events, and white papers tailored for government audiences.\nYou should have the following\n6+ years of experience in federal communications within Congress, executive branch, or defense related journalism\nUnderstanding of the U.S. defense ecosystem, including DoD procurement, congressional appropriations, and national security policy\nStrong existing relationships with think-tanks and national level journalists\nProven ability to translate complex technical issues into compelling narratives\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills\nNice to have\nExperience in a private sector company\nLegislative and Executive Branch experience (preferably DoD)\nPhotography and videography skills\nAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance\nUS Salary Range\n$110,500 - $154,500 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
