We work at the office at least three days a week to ensure seamless teamwork and a sense of belonging.\nMore about the job\nAs a Senior Process Engineer you will report to the Process Engineering Supervisor and work closely with the other Process Engineers within the team. You will also work closely with the Operations and Maintenance departments. As a Senior Process Engineer you will be responsible for an assigned area of the Refinery Operations. You will be focusing on the mid to long term unit operations (7 days to 1 year) and are the first line of support to Operations with day to day unit monitoring to ensure compliant, safe, reliable and efficient operations. \nMain tasks and responsibilities\nTechnical expert of technology assigned unit;\n\nIdentify deviations and provide pragmatic solutions in line with guidelines;\n\nEnsure to operate assigned unit within environmental boundaries;\n\nUnit performance monitoring related to compliance and process safety;\n\nUnit performance monitoring related to efficiency (i.e. energy, variable costs and OEE);\n\nInitiate and develop improvement ideas in a systematic manner;\n\nShut-down/Start-up support during planned and unplanned events;\n\nReviewer of operational shut-down/ start-up instructions.\n\nKeys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role\nBachelor or Master degree in chemical engineering is a requirement;\n\nYou are an experienced Process Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in petrochemical and/or industrial production;\n\nExperience with commissioning and start up of a new refinery is a strong preference;\n\nYou are currently based in the Netherlands and are authorized to work in the Netherlands without requiring visa sponsorship.\n\nAs a Senior Process Engineer, you combine strong technical expertise with the ability to bring people and ideas together.
