As a Management Development Associate, you will embark on a personal and professional development experience a classroom simply can’t offer.\nAs an Accounting Management Development Associate at Nestlé Purina, we will coach you from the start, shaping your career trajectory for continuous learning and growth. Together, we’ll explore finance and controls, supply chain, quality assurance, safety, engineering, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand the interconnected and collaborative nature of manufacturing. You will gain experience in developing and maintaining the necessary accounting systems, procedures, controls and audits. Additionally, you will receive training to familiarize yourself with all areas of the inventory management controls department.\nWhy choose a leadership developmental role with us? With a relocation assistance package, each move will be supported so that you can focus on learning end-to-end processes, building your network, and launching your career.\nMaintain communication with the Plant Manager, Department Managers and Team Leaders on all matters relating to and affecting factory accounting and controls \nProduce accurate and timely departmental training reports, complete with flow diagrams for the entire plant \nTrain and develop a working knowledge of our inventory control systems to include input, internal controls report capabilities and analysis \nAssist in reconciliation of inventories and participation in periodic inventories of raw materials and finished goods \nPerform month-end closing functions and analysis reports \nConduct audits and compliance testing \nRequirements\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related discipline attained or expected by June 2027\n\nMust be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA program\n\nYou will start your rotation for this Accounting MDA at the Nestlé Purina factory in Davenport, Iowa\n\nOther\nPrior internship, co-op, practicum or manufacturing experience preferred\n\nInvolvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience preferred\n\nDon’t meet all the qualifications listed under “other”?
