The Team Lead Data Management combines people leadership with functional expertise and owns local data quality, governance and continuous improvement, working closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Finance and IT as well as centralized data management teams.\nThe role safeguards master data readiness and drives standardization, process discipline and data quality across SAP-supported processes, ensuring that master data enables rather than disrupts factory operations.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nLeading, coaching, and developing the Data Management team, creating clarity on priorities, balance workload across the team and build capabilities in the team.\nCreate a continous improvement mindset with service-oriented culture enabled by ownership, and clear performance expectations.\nEnsuring the timely and accurate creation, maintenance and lifecycle management of master data in line with defined standards.\nOversee data validation, reconciliation and periodic health checks. \nEnsure business continuity by preventing operational disruptions caused by missing or incorrect master data. Coordinate escalations and complex data issues.\nOwning the implementation and consistent application of data management and data governance rules within Operations.\nDriving data quality through analysis, validation, reconciliation, root-cause investigation, and corrective actions by use of data health checks. \nWorking with SAP data structures and overseeing dependencies and impacts across systems and business processes.\nEnabling reliable reporting and dashboards in Power BI and translating stakeholder needs into practical data solutions.\nPartnering with IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other functions to improve processes and deliver data-related initiatives.\nYour profile\nFor this position we are looking for a candidate with strong experience in data management as well a people leader who takes ownership, provides direction, and builds effective partnerships across the organisation.\nHas solid professional experience in Master Data Management, Supply Chain, Operations, IT/data or a related functional environment.\nHas experience leading, coaching or coordinating a team.\nHas strong practical knowledge of SAP master data and understands how data affects end-to-end operational processes.\nHas experience with Data Governance and Data Quality principles.\nUnderstands a manufacturing and/or Supply Chain environment.\nHas experience working in a cross-functional and international organisation.\nIs comfortable working with operational data and translating data issues into business impact.\nCan lead process improvement and standardization initiatives.\nCombining team leadership with hands-on problem-solving and continuous improvement.\nCommunicate clearly with stakeholders and explains complex data topics in a practical way.\nAre fluent in English and comfortable working with international teams; Dutch is an advantage.\nThe job offers more than just a challenge:\nDisclaimer: the position and the position pay level are fully dependent on the job requirements in terms of experience and competencies.
