We utilize thermal processing and high-speed canning to produce varieties of our Friskies®, Beneful® and Pro Plan® brands-product lines that we have carefully produced, packaged, and shipped since 1958. That’s why we not only make high quality food for pets but our factory is also doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal.\nAs an Electrician Class II, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems, which will include facilities, unloading, processing, packing and warehouse operations. You will troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment. Working in a safe manner at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant. Our electrician’s work includes both predictive and preventative maintenance.\nTroubleshoot electrical controls systems including motors and PLCs\nProperly use basic diagnostic equipment including volt/ohm meter, wiggie, ammeter and megger\nProper usage of PPE equipment while operating in the MCC rooms\nInstallation of sensors\nInstall, troubleshoot and maintain switch gear, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motor(s) including three phase systems\nTroubleshoot and maintain plant electrical and electronic equipment to competent level including operator interfaces, process controllers, power supplies, etc.\nAll other duties as assigned\n***This role will be required to work 6PM-6AM.\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent\n2+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, military, or related environment required.\nPay: $40.39 per hour\nBonus Eligibility: Yes\nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
