Annually, the Nestlé Purina team in Flagstaff proudly mass manufactures 280,000 tons of dry pet food from our Dog Chow®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Alpo®, and Pro Plan® brands. Learn from our expert Engineering team while gaining valuable real-world experience in a highly automated and complex pet food manufacturing facility. Whether your focus is mechanical, process, electrical and/or project engineering, this internship will challenge you to expand your skillset and make a genuine impact.\nPrepare specifications and develop bid scopes for contractors.\nDevelop estimates and source equipment for projects.\nCreate design solutions to address areas of opportunity in accordance with engineering standards pertaining to safety, sanitation and production impact.\nAssist in supervising contractors and maintenance personnel on capital upgrades and projects.\nContribute to team effort by engaging in Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) activities to drive results.\nEngage in a safe and healthy work environment.\nRequirements\nMust be a college student of Engineering who is preferably entering senior year in the Fall of 2027.\nMust be available to sustain up to a one-year internship commitment (Spring 2027 to Spring 2028).\nOther\nMust be available to work approximately 20 hours per week on-site at the Flagstaff manufacturing facility.\nExperience with AutoCAD is preferred but not required.\nDon’t meet all the qualifications listed under “other”?
