Your contribution will directly impact safety, quality, efficiency and product availability across the site.\nIf you're looking for a role where you can develop your skills, influence positive change and be part of an exciting period of growth, we'd love to hear from you.\nA Day in the Life of a Maintenance Technician\nAs a Maintenance Technician, you'll be a trusted technical expert, supporting departments across the Staverton factory and helping to ensure our equipment and processes operate safely and effectively.\nKey responsibilities include:\nMaintaining process, packing and utility equipment to maximise reliability and performance.\nDiagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtime.\nSupporting planned preventative maintenance activities.\nEnsuring compliance with site safety procedures and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.\nIssuing permits to work and following safe isolation procedures.\nSupporting plant start-ups, shutdowns and product changeovers.\nUsing our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record work and analyse equipment performance.\nCreating, completing and managing work orders.\nSupporting continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.\nContributing to spare parts control and equipment purchasing decisions.\nMaintaining product quality, integrity and food safety standards.\nSharing knowledge, coaching colleagues and supporting skill development within the team.\nCommunicating effectively across shifts to ensure smooth operations.\nTaking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others.\nWhat Will Make You Successful?\nWe're looking for people who are passionate about engineering, enjoy solving problems and are motivated by working as part of a team.\nYou'll ideally have:\nAn HNC, ONC, NVQ or equivalent qualification in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline.\nCompleted an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience working within a manufacturing or factory maintenance environment.\nExperience working with PLC-controlled high-speed production, packing or process equipment.\nStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.\nExperience using maintenance management systems and preventative maintenance programmes.\nGood IT skills, including working with PC-controlled machinery and engineering systems.\nA proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem solving.\nWhat We Offer\nIn return, you'll have the opportunity to:\nJoin a growing business investing significantly in its future.\nWork with modern manufacturing technology and equipment.\nDevelop your skills through training and career development opportunities.\nBe part of a supportive and collaborative Engineering team.\nContribute to meaningful continuous improvement projects.\nOur Commitment to Inclusion\nAt Cereal Partners UK, we want everyone to feel they belong.\nWe are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, regardless of background, identity, experience or circumstance.
